The Kansas Bride

We are honored to be featured on TheKansasBride.com. We provided the florals for an amazing desert boho photo shoot led by Lacey Rene Studios in the Castle Rock Badlands. The shoot also featured incredible work by Blue Thistle Cakes, rentals by Ultrapom, and beautiful stationary by Beth Laird.

International Floral Art 2018-2019

Our floral designs were chosen to be included in The 2018-2019 version of the annually-produced book, International Floral Art. In it, we combine ordinary items with an unexpected use of florals for an interesting juxtaposition, and we couldn't be happier with the results. This is our first book publication, and being selected along with some of the most talented floral artists in the world feels truly incredible.

For this shoot with Lacey Rene Studios, we really wanted to capture the season. Hints of Autumn were beginning to tease the Midwest and as we anticipated the change of season, the aura and mood found its place. The tones, colors, smells…we love everything about fall and we wanted to incorporate that love within the shoot.

We were chosen as a winner of the 2019 Knot best of weddings. So humbling and thrilling!

Inspired By This

This inspiration shoot was destined to be a show-stopper; with bright hues of coral, citrus orange, mustard, tropical greens, and navy blue, there’s no shortage of bold color. The bright citrus wedding inspiration is so vivid our noses are twitching at the aroma of fresh grapefruits, limes, and oranges! It’s perfect for the fun and playful bride. We guarantee you’ll have the biggest ear-to-ear smile when looking through these gorgeous photos captured by Lacey Rene Studios. How could you not?

In this shoot, we brought attention to a local non-profit pet rescue shelter. We chose to use a non-traditional color palette, bringing pops of color and a vintage feel. Flowers, puppies, kitties, and a good cause - what could be better?

Black Bride Magazine

Taking inspiration from American poet Langston Hughes, this abstract styled shoot delves into the deeper and sometimes challenging parts of marriage. With stunning floral arrangements that turn into a crown and mask, alongside the notable venue and boho chic models, it's hard to take your eyes away from this untraditionally modern styled shoot. The shoot's dark color palette mixed in with alluring shapes, metallics, and vintage elements are sure to make you want to grab hold of your significant other on your wedding day. In this shoot, inspiration was drawn from the colors, textures, and fashion of the 70s and curated into a shoot full of rich jewel tones, lush velvets, and copper accents designed and styled by Heather Lane Events and Heart + Soul Floral. We envisioned creating a vintage-retro yet glamorous vibe for the tablescape, lounge area, beauty vanity and favor display. Once we decided on the rich jewel tones as the color palette for the shoot, the tagline followed shortly after…“You’re a Gem,” and it matched the vision to perfection.
